Kew Gardens

We had our first visit to Kew Gardens today. I will just say it was a wonderful day-the sun was shining, the garden was stunning, the birds were different, and we all relaxed and either just wandered or sat barefoot under a tree. For such a busy place-it was extremely tranquil. We brought a picnic lunch-highly recommended, especially as there are a zillion places for lovely picnics and there are a zillion people in line at the food venues! I can’t wait to go back!


The kids about to go into the man-made Badger set. They were both a bit nervous–and as you can tell from the shot I took inside, Kieran was still a tad bit unsure of the whole thing!



We sought plenty of shade throughout the day!



I also enjoyed that even the folk at Kew seemed to love Irisis, and many of the flowers were yellow or purple–my favourites!
